Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms had a lovely ambience, though slightly worn in some areas, and were surprisingly quiet at night, a rarity in central London. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the best of London on foot. However, the dining experience left something to be desired, lacking variety and freshness in the offerings.
The hotel's rooms were disappointing with old, dirty furnishings, but the bed was comfortable. Service was hit or miss with some helpful instances. The location was unbeatable for walking to key attractions, although the bathtop and window framing were lacking. The dining experience had its flaws with a lack of basic services. Overall, the hotel is barely a 2-star.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The Executive Suite was spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything I needed. However, the noise from the nearby building disturbed my sleep in the early morning hours. The staff provided friendly and helpful service throughout my visit.
The hotel's location is ideal, with easy access to all parts of Mayfair, adjacent to the charming Shepherd's Market and Green Park. The rooms, however, were average, and there were disturbances from the housekeeping staff in the mornings. The service left a lot to be desired, with a lack of essential information provided.
The hotel is conveniently located near popular attractions, but the rooms were disappointing with old furniture, noise issues, and cleanliness concerns. The service was a mix of understanding and strict. Dining was average, and the location was ideal for sightseeing.
The hotel is in a great location and mostly why I chose it. The rooms need updating and modernizing despite having a refurbished bathroom. The service was very helpful and friendly, but at times communication was challenging due to accents. The dining experience was ok but not exceptional. Considering the price and location, it's a decent option worth considering for a stay.
The junior suite was a little dated compared to our previous stay 8 years ago when it was top-notch. The service was lacking overall, more due to poor management than the staff's fault. On the plus side, the rooms were spacious for the price.
The hotel was a bit tired now compared to our previous visit 8 years ago when it was a first-class establishment. The rooms are very clean, but some aspects were unacceptable. The service was inconsistent; however, special recognition goes to Annette for her brilliant service. The location is fantastic for both work and leisure but not very inviting overall. The dining experience was expensive for simple options but otherwise plentiful and appetizing.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were to my liking, very comfortable, and well presented, but the carpet looked grotty, and the noise level was high. The service was a bit slow during check-in, but overall, the staff was helpful. The location was superb, although the air conditioning issue was a downside. The dining experience was lacking in service information and options. Facilities were adequate, albeit room for improvement in certain aspects.
The hotel is centrally located in Mayfair, making it easy to reach many attractions on foot. However, the rooms had some issues like hard beds, noisy environment, and dated furniture, but the gesture for a birthday celebration was appreciated. Service was friendly but demanding a pre-payment raised eyebrows. The location is excellent, close to cafes and restaurants, and the staff is helpful with directions. The dining experience left much to be desired, with poor service and a lack of information provided. Facilities could use improvement.
